IAN CHAN “TEARS" IN MY SIGHT SOLO CONCERT 2024 X 2 tickets & up to HK$3,000 Statement Credit Welcome

Offers 1 Terms and Conditions:

These Welcome Offers (as mentioned in clauses 2 to 3 of the Terms and Conditions) are only valid for approved

Platinum Card applications that are received by American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”)

between May 6, 2024 and May 31, 2024 (both dates inclusive).

Designated Welcome Offers cannot be changed once the online application is submitted.

First Transaction Bonus: For first 750 Basic Cardmembers who submit their Card application online via dedicated

URLs and all required valid documents within 7 days from the date of application submission, and upon successful

spending made with the Basic Card or Supplementary Card on or before June 15, 2024. Basic Cardmembers will

receive two HK$1,080 IAN CHAN “TEARS" IN MY SIGHT SOLO CONCERT 2024 tickets. A redemption letter will be

sent to each eligible Basic Cardmember on or before June 30, 2024 for the redemption of tickets. Tickets are

available on a first-come-first-served basis. In case of shortage, notification letter will also be sent to ineligible

Cardmembers by mail on or before June 30, 2024, Cardmembers will be entitled to receive HK$2,160 statement

credits as alternative. Should Cardmember not receive the mentioned redemption letter or notification letter of

ineligibility, please contact American Express Customer Service hotline.

(i) A redemption letter will be sent to each eligible Basic Cardmember on or before June 30, 2024 for the

redemption of tickets. Eligible Cardmember has to ensure that the correct Hong Kong home address is

provided during Card application, such that the ticket redemption letter can be received. American

Express will not be responsible for letter delivery failure due to invalid address. Cardmember must bring

the original redemption letter and the eligible credit card as specified in the redemption letter to redeem

the tickets at the designated redemption center before the specified redemption deadline stated in the

redemption letter. Redemption details including the redemption flow, address, opening hours of

redemption centers and the specified redemption deadline will be listed in the redemption letter.

i. Upon receipt of the ticket redemption letter, the tickets can be collected from the designated redemption

center on or before July 16, 2024. Late redemption is not allowed, the tickets will be deemed to be

forfeited if no redemption by eligible Cardmembers on or before July 16, 2024.

ii. American Express will allocate the concert tickets to the eligible Cardmembers as its sole discretion. No

alteration on the show date or ticket seating of received under this offer is allowed. The show tickets cannot

be returned, exchanged, or traded for cash or other offers and are not replaceable in the event of any loss

or damage. If Ticket is lost, defaced, or stolen, the Organizer and American Express will not reissue or replace

the ticket, and will not bear any responsibility. Other terms and conditions of the show tickets apply, please

refer to the show tickets for details. In the event of cancellation or postponement of the Concert or a

reduction in the number of seats, the Organizer reserves the right to reschedule the Concert. The Organizer

will decide on the arrangements for a Concert postponement and make a relevant announcement, but

requests for refunds of the Tickets of this Welcome Offer will not be entertained.

Welcome Bonus: Cardmembers will receive a welcome bonus when aggregate spending meets the following

spending tier, on his and/or her Basic and Supplementary Cards within the first 3 months from the date of approval

of the Basic Card, the statement credits will be credited to the Eligible Basic Card Accounts within 8 weeks of such

spend. Should Cardmember not receive the mentioned Welcome Offers within 8 weeks, please contact American

Express Customer Service hotline.

Example 1: Cardmembers will receive HK$1,000 Statement Credit and Limited Edition of IAN CHAN X PLATINUM Gift

Set as welcome bonus when spending meets HK$15,000 – HK$49,999, on his or her Basic and/or Supplementary

Cards within the first 3 months from the data of approval of the Basic Card.

Example 2: Cardmembers will receive total HK$3,000 Statement Credit and Limited Edition of IAN CHAN X PLATINUM

Gift Set as welcome bonus when spending meets HK$50,000 or above, on his or her Basic and/or Supplementary

Cards within the first 3 months from the data of approval of the Basic Card.

A redemption letter of IAN CHAN X PLATINUM Gift Set will be sent to each eligible Basic Cardmember within 16

weeks upon Card approval and spending requirements fulfilled. Cardmember must bring the original redemption

letter and the eligible credit card as specified in the redemption letter to redeem the prize at the designated

redemption center before the specified redemption deadline stated in the redemption letter. Redemption details

including the redemption flow, address of redemption centers and the specified redemption deadline will be listed

in the redemption letter. Gift set is not redeemable for cash, transferable or exchangeable. Should Cardmember

not receive the mentioned redemption letter within 16 weeks, please call the number on the back of the Card for

assistance. In case of shortage, eligible Cardmembers will be entitled to receive 180,000 Membership Reward

Points as alternative.

Cardmembers who paid the annual fee and holding valid Platinum Card accounts with good standing and not

overdue will be eligible for the above First Transaction Bonus and Welcome Bonuses. American Express reserves the

right not to offer any bonus of Membership Rewards® points or statement credit to Cardmembers who fail to fulfil

the above conditions without prior notice.

American Express reserves the right to debit Membership Rewards points from any ineligible Basic Card Accounts.

The Platinum Card applicant will need to meet the minimum annual income requirement.

American Express reserves the right to decline applicants including applicants who have unsatisfactory credit history

or do not meet its credit criteria.

The annual fee for The Platinum Card is HK$9,500 with the entitlement of 1 Platinum Card and 2 Platinum

Supplementary Cards. Additional Platinum Supplementary Card (i.e. third and subsequent Supplementary Cards)

carry an annual fee of HK$9,500.

Existing Basic Platinum Card Member / American Express Peninsula Platinum Card Basic Card Member and

applicants who held the Basic Card of The Platinum Card / American Express® Peninsula Platinum Card at any time

within the past 12 months from the date of this application are not eligible for these Welcome Offers. American

Express reserves the right to debit the original price of the Welcome Offers and first-year annual fee without prior

notice.

If the Basic Cardmember has transferred / redeemed the Membership Rewards points or statement credits partially

or in full from the Welcome Bonus and Online Bonus, and cancels The Platinum Card within 12 months of Card

issuance, American Express reserves the right to debit the prevailing annual fee of HK$9,500 from such

Cardmember’s account.

13.

American Express reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and to terminate this program without

prior notice.

14.

Should any dispute arise, the decision of American Express shall be final.

15.

In case of inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms, the English version shall prevail.
