NOTICE OF PROPERTY TAX INCREASE
The City of Doraville
has tentatively adopted a millage rate which will
require an increase in property taxes by 11.69
percent.
All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax
increase to be held at Doraville City Hall 3725 Park Ave Doraville, GA
30340 on June 18, 2024 at 6:00pm.
Times and places of additional public hearings on this tax increase are at
Doraville City Hall 3725 Park Ave Doraville, GA 30340 on June 26,
2024 at 11:00 am and June 26,2024 at 6:00pm.
This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 9.0 mills, an
increase of .942 mills.
Without this tentative tax increase, the millage
rate will be no more than 8.058 mills
. The proposed tax increase for a
home with a fair market value of $350,000
is approximately $117.50
and the proposed tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair
market value of $1,100,000
is approximately $376.80.
