Providing Free or Deeply Discounted Skiing for Senior Skiers

SeniorsSkiing.com is pleased to provide subscribers with our annual lisng of North American
ski areas providing older skiers with free or deeply discounted season passes and/or li ckets.
T
o our knowledge, SeniorsSkiing.com is the only source of the compiled informaon.
This season’s list includes areas oering season passes for $250 or less. Pass costs for Canadian areas are listed in
Canadian dollars.
As in past lisngs, the qualifying age to receive the free or discounted benet is indicated. Most areas require that
you are the age at the me of purchase and will want to review your driver’s license or other idencaon.
Many areas discount season passes when they are purchased early and increase the cost as the season
approaches. The prices included in the lisng generally are for passes purchased before the end of November.
We decided against including the price of day passes because of the variables many areas have introduced with
day pass pricing (e.g. half day; mid-week; mul-day, advance purchase, etc.). Generally, areas oering seniors free
or deeply discounted season passes also oer them free or deeply discounted day passes. A few listed areas with
very low day pass rates for seniors do not list season pass rates for seniors on their websites.
An asterisk next to a resort in the highlighed “season pass” column indicates a big day li cket bargain.
The research for the annual lisng was done online and took several months to compile. As in the past, we
encourage readers to email correcons ([email protected]om). The list will be updated as this informaon is
conrmed. For complete accuracy, we recommend conrming checking area websites or calling before going.
