THE BASICS
Check Point Security Appliances support standard SNMP CPU, memory, and disk sensors that PRTG already has out of the box.
Enable the SNMP Agent on the Check Point device, choose your version, fill in the location and contact string, select which
interfaces will allow SNMP to traverse them, set your community strings and finally configure SNMPv3 authentication settings.
PRTG SENSORS FOR CHECK POINT
With SNMP enabled on Check Point’s Next Generation Threat Prevention platform, PRTG has sensors for your Check Point
device. Below is an example of a Check Point device template in PRTG that provides basic metrics needed to ensure your
security is always on.
