2010-2018 Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins Fuel Pressure Big Line Kit
We recommend wearing safety glasses and gloves during this installation.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from each battery.
2. Have a drain pan ready and drain the fuel filter housing by releasing the yellow drain valve. Once the fuel has
been fully drained from the filter, you can close the yellow drain valve.
3. Remove the stock quick connect feed line that runs from the bottom of the fuel filter housing to the injection
pump. Next, remove the injection pump inlet fitting.
4. Install the included stainless steel adapter with O-ring into the injection pump inlet. Note: Lubricate the O-ring
with oil.
5. Install the included quick connect fitting into one end of the rubber fuel line and secure with the included hose
clamp. Note: Lubricate the end of the quick connector fitting and press the hose firmly until fully seated.
6. Attach the 4ft rubber fuel hose with the quick connect fitting to the nipple located on the bottom of the fuel
filter housing. Push the quick connect fitting on until you hear a click sound. The click sound will confirm it is fully
inserted.
7. Loosely install the included straight fitting onto the stainless adapter installed at the injection pump. Note:
Lubricate the end of the quick connector fitting and press the hose firmly until fully seated against the yellow
trim ring.
8. Cut the rubber fuel line to the proper length between the fuel filter housing and injection pump.
9. Next, remove the straight fitting from the injection pump and install it into the other end of the rubber fuel line
coming from the fuel filter housing.
10. Install the completed big line kit onto the truck. Be sure to keep the big line kit away from any moving
components of the truck.
11. Use the included T-fitting to install the 1/8-27 NPT fuel pressure sensor. You can install the T-fitting anywhere on
the rubber fuel line. Cut the rubber fuel line, insert the
hose clamps over the cut ends of the line and install the
T-fitting in the two cut ends. Secure the T-fitting to the
line using the hose clamps. Note: Lubricate both ends of
the T-fitting and press the hose firmly until fully seated.
12. Install the fuel pressure sensor into the T-Fitting. Use
Teflon tape or thread sealant on the threads.
13. Now that the big line kit is fully installed to the truck, you
can reconnect the negative cable of each battery.
14. Prime the fuel system by bumping the starter 3-5 times,
but do not allow the truck to start. This process will
purge all of the air that is present in the fuel system.
15. Start the engine and verify sufficient fuel pressure. Also,
ensure all of the connections within the big line are
secure with no leaks and clear of all moving parts.
