Submitting Assignments on Schoology
1. Open assignment and press “Submit Assignment”
2. If uploading a Word document, picture, PDF, etc.: Click the file box under the “Upload” tab,
search for your file and attach it:
If uploading a voice recording, you can find the file by going to “This PC,” then
“Documents,” and finally “Sound Recordings”
If uploading a picture or video you took with the camera on your device, choose “This
PC,” then “Pictures,” and finally “Camera Roll”
If uploading a Google Doc (or Google Slides, Drawing, Sheets): Click “Resources” tab:
Then click “Apps”
Then click “Google Drive Resources” on the left-hand side. Find your document and import.
Then, check the box next to the document(s) you want to submit.
Click Import and then click Import File. Schoology will automatically submit your
document(s).
3. You can also type your response directly into Schoology by clicking on the “Create” tab.
This is also useful for pasting a shareable link to a Google Doc.
In this text editor, you can change your font, use bullet points, and even add links, photos, and
special characters (like accents).
If you start your work and need to come back to it later, click “Save Draft.”
When you are ready to submit your work to your teacher, click “Submit.”
NOTE: You will be able to edit your work after submitting, but you will be submitting a new
draft. Your teacher will see both copies of your work.
